DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Ms. Sarah Rizvi, IPS conducted a security review along the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra route from Salora to Chenani-Nashri Tunnel on the National Highway. She was accompanied by SSP Udhampur Amod Nagpure- IPS, Addl. SP Udhampur Sh. Sandeep Bhat along with other senior Police officers of the district.
The visit focused on ensuring smooth and safe passage for Yatries. She reviewed security deployments at langar sites, lodgment centers, ROPs and other key locations with special emphasis on effective coordination and personnel briefing in challenging terrain.
She stressed inter-agency coordination among Police, CAPF, Army, intelligence units and civil Administration. She also took stock of traffic management along the Yatra route with the district police officer
